ABOUT THE EVENT
The British Championships is British Weight Lifting’s (BWL) flagship event, bringing together the UK’s finest weightlifting and para powerlifting talent across one action-packed weekend.
This year’s Championships also carry added significance as a Commonwealth Games qualifying event for weightlifting, raising the stakes as athletes compete for national titles and selection opportunities for Glasgow 2026.
International weightlifting teams will also take to the platform, making this a must-see showcase of world-class strength sport on UK soil.

Accredited media will receive access to designated media areas, and mixed zone opportunities (subject to final event operations plan) TBC. Complimentary access to the British Championships? Commercial partners will be prioritised for warm-up area access.
